Wartburg College awarded diplomas to 298 graduates at its Commencement ceremony May 24. Megan Jorgensen of Vinton graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in history and peace & justice studies.

Hugh and Joanna (Osborn) Brody established their homestead in Polk Township, just a couple miles south of Urbana, shortly after the Osborn family moved to the area in 1840.

The Center Point 1903 school building is gone to make way for improvements at the now Middle School.  But for many people the memories made in that old building will live on.
