Handgun safety classes offered in Vinton, CR

    A four hour course for Iowans to obtain their Permit to Carry Weapons has been scheduled in the area.  The course is only four hours in length and covers handgun safety, gun handling, carry options and Iowa and Federal laws.

  A Handgun Safety Course will be conducted on April 21st at the Izaak Walton League Chapter House north of Vinton on Highway #150.  This course is the NRA Basic Handgun Safety Course and is a eight hour class.
