Kevin Kraus, Luther College vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college, has announced the December 2011 Luther College graduate list.

  A law which went into effect on January 1, 2011 requires the Sheriff of each county to issue a permit to carry weapons to any person 21 years of age or older who is not addicted to alcohol, not likely to use a weapon unlawfully or in such a manner as would endanger the person’s self or others, is not a felon, and has not been convicted of a serious or aggravated misdemeanor in the past three years.

  A group from East Central Iowa Electric Co-Op visited the Capitol Wednesday and met with Rep. Dawn Pettengill (R-Mt. Auburn). 

  The annual meeting and educational program of the Northeast ISU Research and Demonstration Farm will be Tuesday March 27 at the Borlaug Learning Center, Northeast ISU Research Farm, Nashua.
