This is a reminder that the Vinton Class of 1960 will hold their class reunion at Pizza Ranch in downtown Vinton. Vinton will come together to read and celebrate “Bewilderment” by Richard Powers The Vinton Public Library will launch its Vinton’s Big Read program exploring ‘Bewilderment’ by Richard Powers with a kick-off event on Thursday, September 4th, 2025, at  1 pm at the Vinton Public Library. The Vinton’s Big Read is presented in partnership with Benton County Conservation, the Vinton Guild of Fine Arts and the Vinton Palace Theatre, with support from the National Endowment for the Arts, Arts Midwest, The Charles and Helen Yundt Charitable Foundation, and the Friends of the Vinton Public Library.
