Retired State Geologist of Iowa, Ray Anderson will give a free presentation entitled, “The Geological History of Linn County: From the Origin of the Earth to Today.” The event will be held at the Center Point Depot Museum on Sunday, August 18, at 2:00 p.m.Anderson will talk about the formation of the Earth and continents and how glaciers sculpted our Iowa landscape.
