Cars will race twice this week at the Benton County Fairgrounds. The popular and exciting trailer races will also return this week during the Benton County Fair. And, of course, the annual Jerry Stanley Memorial Demolition Derby takes place on its customary Saturday night. Admission each night is $10 for adults; $4 for kids.

Thursday, July 25:

7 p.m. Legion Color Guard and Benton County Queen coronation

7:30 p.m. IMCA Hobby Stock and IMCA Sport Mod racing as well as IMCA Sport Compact and Nostalgia Cars.

Friday, July 26:

7 p.m.: Trailer races, Wall of Fire, and Night of Destruction. For entry rules, visit www.jjamracing.net. For more information, call Ed Callon, at 319-551-7351.

Saturday, July 27: Demo Derby (www.jjamracing.net) or call Fuzzy Durey at 563-663-0332 for more information.

Sunday, July 28: Regular night of races, 6 p.m.
