Events and Activities : New bike is top prize in first Old Creamery Nature Trail Bicycle Poker Run

Grand prize for best poker hand is a classic bicycle donated by Where Two Corners Meet in Dysart.

The first Old Creamery Nature Trail Poker run will take place Saturday, Aug. 7, on the trail. The top prize is the bicycle pictured here.

WHEN: Saturday August 7, 2010 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

WHERE: Old Creamery Nature Trail (Vinton, Garrison, Dysart)

DISTANCE: 14 mile out and back course or 28 mile out and back course. $10 per person or donations of $25 or more receive a t-shirt Join us for the Old Creamery Nature Trail’s 1st ever Poker Run! Five (5) stations will be established along the 14.25 mile trail to hand out playing cards, refreshments and other items.

Start in Vinton or Dysart and ride to Garrison and back for one playing hand or ride the entire trail for two hands.

Prizes will be awarded for the best hands … need not be present to win.

GRAND PRIZE: Classic Bicycle donated by Russ Grimm (Dysart)!!!

All proceeds go to the upkeep and improvement of the Trail.
