There will be an old fashioned band concert, Sunday, Sept. 16, 6 p.m. at the Center Point Historical Society Depot Museum. Music will be provided by the Vinton Community Band under the direction of Judy Trygstad.

Two Annual Classes for those with Diabetes to be held at VGH

The Center Point Friends of the Library made over $1000 at its August used book sale and silent auction. The group will talk over how to build on that success and will elect officers at its annual meeting Thurs.

On Wednesday, September 19, Kirkwood Community College’s recreation facility will be transformed into a higher education shopping mall. The annual Eastern Iowa College Fair expects as many as 1,500 prospective students and their parents to be in attendance.
