 During the month of April, with a quick text message Iowans can vote for 4-H, make a $10 donation and increase the chances that Iowa 4-H will receive a $5,000 bonus from JCPenney to support 4-H youth development programs throughout the state.

Urbana Christian Church to hold supper on April 24th

The Urbana Christian Church will hold a Swiss Steak Supper from 4p.m. until they are finished on Saturday April 24th. Included in the meal will be a salad and dessert bar.

Vinton TTT to hold 2nd Annual Charity golf tournament

The local TTT chapter will be holding a Ladies Two-Person Best Shot Gold Tournament on Tuesday June 22.  Shotgun starts at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.  The cost is $25 per golfer, cash flight prizes.
