Legion to hold Fish Fry, tonight, Friday, September 13

The American Legion will be holding a fish fry tonight beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The Legion is located at 105 N. R Ave in Vinton. The Legion will be serving a Fish Fillet, Baked Potato, Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Baked Beans and CakeAdults: $9.

Honor Flight Scheduled for Septemnber 17

On Tuesday, September 17, 2019 , the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight will launch EIHF Flight #37 Since we began operations in 2009, to date, we have transported 3,145 Veterans, plus their guardians to Washington, DC to visit the memorials dedicated to their service and sacrifice.
