Friends of the Shelter is hosting a microchipping event on Saturday, June 7 from 11am-2pm!   Each microchip will include FREE on-site registration into the 24PetWatch National database.

Friends of Library will hold a Used Book Sale in the Center Point Public Library Basement on the following dates: Saturday May 31, from 9 a.

On Monday, May 19, the Vinton-Shellsburg Middle School and High School Choirs will present their year-end concert at 7:00 pm in the middle school gymnasium.

This Sunday, May 18th, Windsor Manor will be hosting “Sundaes on Sunday” from 1-3 p.m. sponsored by the Car Cruise of Vinton. This event is a chance for anyone, friends and family, or anyone in the community who would like to come out and visit our residents at Windsor Manor to stop in and enjoy an ice cream sundae with all of the toppings! There will be door prizes and just a fun time of catching up with our folks at Windsor Manor.

The annual VSEA Retirement Reception and Awards Ceremony is tonight at Central Office from 4:00-5:30.  The Awards Ceremony will actually begin right at 4:00.

The first big event at the new Celebration Park in Vinton has already been planned for a week after the June 14 dedication ceremony. The Vinton Guild of Fine Arts plans a day long Arts Festival on Saturday, June 21, rain or shine, from 9 am.

Vinton-Shellsburg May Choral Night will be presented on Monday, May 19 at 7:00 in the middle school gymnasium.  Each of the middle school and high school choirs will be featured.
