VS School Update: Wednesday
This is Wednesday and we continue to adjust to our new reality.The administrators and directors met with staff yesterday to both share how we will move forward during this time of closure and gather input from staff about how we can continue to serve our students and community.Closure – We are officially closed through Sunday, April 12. The closure may extend beyond the April 12th recommendation, depending on the COVID-19 impact across our community, state and nation.

Cash can be accepted, any change will be applied to your bill for the next month, but check or money orders are preferred. You can also mail it into the office, City Hall, 310 A. Gov. Reynolds issues a State of Public Health Disaster Emergency
Gov. Reynolds issued a State of Public Health Disaster Emergency activating the public health response and recovery aspects of the State Disaster Emergency Plan effective at noon today. It takes significant steps to require social distancing and limit community spread of the virus by implementing temporary measures including moving restaurants to drive-through, carry-out, and delivery only and closures of certain entities such as bars and recreational facilities.

March 10, 2020 The Benton County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with Supervisors Bierschenk and Seeman were present. Supervisor Primmer called in periodically throughout the meeting. Bierschenk called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. Unless otherwise noted, all actions were approved unanimously.
