The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) has been notified of 73 additional positive cases of Iowans with COVID-19, for a total of 497 positive cases. One death was reported in Muscatine County, a middle-aged (41-60) resident. There have been a total of 6,888 negative tests to date, which includes testing reported by the State Hygienic Lab and other labs.

All Charges are subject to review by The Benton County Attorney’s Office. An arrest or criminalcharge is merely an accusation and the Defendant is presumed innocent, unless proven guilty. March 25, 2020                 The Benton County Board of Supervisors met in special session with Supervisors Primmer, Bierschenk and Seeman present. The meeting was called to order at 3:00 p.m.   This meeting was zoom accessible to keep the amount of people present limited to 10 and under.

March 24, 2020                 The Benton County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with Supervisors Primmer, Bierschenk and Seeman were present. The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m.   Members of the public were provided the zoom access capability to join in during open session.
