City Approves sale of GO (General Obligation) Bonds

The council met with Tionna Pooler of Independent Public Advisors, LLC. The council approved a resolution awarding the sale and authorizing the issuance of GO Bonds aka General Obligation Corporate Purpose Bonds, Series 2020A and providing for the levy of taxes in the amount of $4,070,000.

Gov. Reynolds takes action on all remaining legislation of the 2020 session

Reynolds signed the following bills into law: HF2642: an Act relating to and making appropriations to state departments and agencies from the rebuild Iowa infrastructure fund and the technology reinvestment fund, and providing for related matters, and including effective date and retroactive applicability provisions.
