Benton Soil and Water Conservation District Commissioners to meet Dec. 13
The next regular meeting of the Benton Soil and Water Conservation District Commissioners will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the District Office, 1705 West D Street in Vinton.
Agenda items include: approval of minutes from previous meetings, public participation, approval of treasurer's report and bills, approval of conservation plans, watershed reports, state cost-share programs, an update on NRCS activities, a review of the correspondence file, any other commissioner input or other business, and scheduling of the next meeting.

The Benton County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with Supervisors Wiley and Bierschenk present, Primmer absent. The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. Unless otherwise noted, all actions were approved unanimously.
Bierschenk moved/Wiley seconded: Approve the minutes from Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Motion carried.
Benton County Republicans to meet Tuesday, Dec. 5th
The Benton County Republicans will be meeting December 5th, 2017, at 6 p.m. at the Vinton Pizza Ranch for our annual Christmastime gathering.We will be in the back of the restaurant in one of the meeting rooms. This is a dutch treat event.All Benton County Republicans are invited to attend.
Please note that this meeting will take place of our regularly scheduled monthly meeting.
