WATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

Notice is hereby given that Benton County, Iowa is Requesting Qualifications for Professional Services for a proposed Water Improvement Project to serve the Timber Ridge Mobile Home Park located approximately four miles south of Shellsburg, Iowa. Specifically, with successful award of a Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the Iowa Department of Economic Development, (application to be submitted November 2010 for disposition March 2011), this will be for the preparation of final plans and specifications to bid the project for development and manage construction.

A complete “Request for Qualification of Engineering Services” packet is available during normal work hours from Mr. Gary Hughes, Grant Writer / Administrator with the East Central Iowa Council of Governments (ECICOG), 700 16th Street N.E., Cedar Rapids, IA 52402 (319-365-9941 ext. 129).

Submissions (for receipt) are due no later than 4:00 PM, Friday, October 22, 2010.
