Using a 3-level procedure to open their parks, Benton County Conservation announced today that effective June 5, 2020, all shower houses and modern restrooms will be open to the public. This is based on Level-2 recommendations.
Patrons are asked to provide hand sanitizer/and or soap, as these items may not be available. Latrines have been open to the public since late May.
Conservation staff provides daily sanitation of these facilities.
Playgrounds will also be open on June 5. No sanitation of playgrounds will occur, so patrons are asked to practice social distancing and frequent sanitation of hands before, during, and after using the playgrounds.
All conservation offices and nature center remain closed to the public until further notice.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this pandemic. For more information, please pay attention to signs posted throughout the parks concerning COVID-19.
