Updated City Code concerning UTV travel within the city limits

Following the changing state of Iowa UTV law, the City of Vinton has updated its City Code concerning UTV travel within the city limits. Please read through the ordinance to answer any questions you may have.

~ Be sure your state DNR sticker is current

~ A person desiring a safety inspection of their utility vehicle to verify all required equipment is operational and present may schedule an inspection with the Vinton Police Department. There will be a one-time fee of $25.00 

~Annual registration is not required with the City
