Caregiver Wellness Day November 4, 2024 at the Kirkwood Hotel

A Caregiver Wellness Day will be held on November 4th, 2024. This is an annual event put on by the Heritage Area Agency on Aging. The event covers seven counties in Iowa including Benton. The event will be held at the Kirkwood Hotel in Cedar Rapids and is a free event for any family caregiver. There will be 35+ vendors for participants to visit with throughout the day, along with guest speakers.

LIFESERVE BLOOD CENTER HOSTS ANNUAL BATTLE OF THE BADGES DURING FOURTH OF JULY

LifeServe Blood Center is partnering with local first responders across its service region for this year’s Battle of the Badges blood drive promotion, happening Monday, July 1-Saturday, July 6 (closed Thursday, July 4 for the holiday). Eligible blood donors can schedule an appointment at some of LifeServe’s Donor Centers and participating mobile blood drives, while voting for their favorite first responder group.

Iowa HHS Warns of Serious Illnesses Reported from Diamond Shruumz Products
