Vinton Lions Club Appoints New Officers

Wednesday afternoon the Vinton Lions Club appointed new officers for the 2020-2021 year.The Lions Club is a service organization working in the Vinton Community.

COVID-19 update 7/30/20

Benton County As of 1:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, Benton County cases of COVID have reached 120 total cases since March. Of the 120, 84 have recovered, leaving 35 active cases in the county (there has been one death early on of an 83 year old man from Blairstown in early April.

North Iowa Tractor Ride brings Iowa to Vinton

140 tractors rolled into Vinton on Thursday evening in preparation for the North Iowa Tractor ride. The ride covered parts of Benton,  Buchanan, Black Hawk, Tama and Linn Counties.
