7th grader Alyssa Griffith finished 2nd in the high jump, at 4 feet, four inches, just one inch behind the first place winner. Samantha Walton's first-place discus throw of 94 feet, 7 inches was 24 feet further than the second-place finisher.

On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight will launch EIHF Flight #32. Since we began operations in 2009, to date, we have transported 2,666 Veterans, plus their guardians to Washington, DC to visit the memorials dedicated to their service and sacrifice.
