Shane Scott: Vinton Country Club Net Club Champ for 2013.
The Vinton Country Club held it’s Men’s Club Tournament on Sunday, August 18th.
It was a great day for golf and a better day for our 2013 Club Champion Shane Scott. Not only did Shane win the outright Club Championship, but also took the title of Net Club Champion .
This was Shane’s 3rd Club Championship. Shane took an early commanding lead and was 3 under par after the first 6 holes and cruised to a 3 under par 67 final score, winning by 4 strokes over Ben Donnelly and Matt Martin who both shot 1 over par 71’s. For the net title, Shane Scott netted a 65.40 and narrowly edged out Dean Luze who shot a 75 netting him a 66.68.
