Juvenile Referrals

January 6 A 15 year old male was referred to Juvenile Probation for Assault Causing Injury (Serious

Misdemeanor).

January 31 A 14 year old female was referred to Juvenile Probation for Assault (Simple Misdemeanor).

Seven citations were issued in January. Two resulted from two state reportable traffic accidents, one for minor using tobacco - 3rd offense, and the remainder for other traffic offenses.

Nineteen written warning were issued in January.

Three parking/street storage/snow removal violations violations were issued in January.

For the month of January, 129 complaints/calls for service were handled by the Vinton Police Department.
