On the 9th of May, nine Vinton-Shellsburg FFA members went to the 4th Grade State Fair Day at Tilford Elementary to help out. At 4th Grade State Fair there are different stations that the fourth graders go to to learn about different things and to experience new stuff. Some FFA members brought in animals for the students to learn about at the FFA Petting Zoo station.
Five of the nine FFA members that went to 4th Grade State Fair Day brought animals for it. Dillon Brummer brought his cow, John Eden took his rabbit and chicken for the students to see, Deion Dulin provided the Petting Zoo with goats, Daisy Johnson brought in a sheep, and Katie Isbell took her dog for the kids to play with. The other four FFA members -Stevie Henry, Emily Reisch, Cole Emrich, and Jessica Alderson- helped with the animals and the students that came to the station. Overall, it went great! The fourth graders loved seeing the animals and the members enjoyed helping out!
