Accepting the challenge from former Casey's employee Trent Husted, who now works at Virginia Gay Hospital and participated in the VGH Ice Bucket Challenge earlier this week, Casey's manager Chris Hendryx accepted the challenge and also involved the convenience store employees and a few willing customers.

However, instead of raising money for the ALS Association, the Casey's event raised money for the MDA camps. The store chain has an ongoing fund-raising partnership with the MDA to help send children with muscular disorders to summer camps designed especially for them.

By the time Hendryx and many others took turns dousing each other, their jar was full of donations for the cause.

Hendryx issued a challenge to her supervisor, as well as to Farmers Savings Bank.
