News : Go-VS Sponsors Dairyland Donkeyball March 24

New rodeo stars will be born during the wild and crazy “Dairyland Donkey Basketball Show” at the Vinton-Shellsburg Middle School on March 24, 2015, starting at 7:00pm. It’s basketball played on real, live donkeys, and it will be wilder than a rodeo and funnier than a circus! All local players will be riding. The six teams will be Vinton Unlimited, Betterton Chiropractic, V-S Juniors, V-S Seniors, V-S Teachers, and a mystery team. Come out and see someone you know try to ride a donkey and play basketball at the same time. It’s a thrill a minute, a spill a minute. Laugh as you’ve never laughed before at the wild and crazy donkey basketball show!

This family fun-filled show is sponsored by the Go-VS Scholarship Committee. All of the proceeds will be for scholarships for local students. Concessions will be available with proceeds going to the Honor Flight Program.

Advance tickets can be purchased for $6 from any Go-VS member and at the Vinton-Shellsburg High School office, Farmers Savings Bank, Cedar Valley Bank, or USA Communications. Tickets may be available at the door for $8 if space is available.
