News : 2016 VS Post-Prom Committee looking for chairperson

Although the 2014-15 school year has just ended, planning for the 2016 Post-Prom party is just beginning.

Parents of all VS juniors are invited to help with this event. A committee has been set up, but so far it does not yet have a chairperson.

Committee member Tammy Hepker sent this message to VS families this week:

Attention 2015-2016 Vinton-Shellsburg JUNIOR Parents: There will be a 2016 Post Prom parent planning meeting on Monday, June 1 at 7:00 @ Tilford. What is Post Prom? Post Prom is a drug & alcohol-free event hosted by the JUNIOR Parents. It was started to provide the students a safe, organized & fun event. As a Junior parent, what is my responsibility for Post Prom? To ensure a successful and memorable Post Prom, it will take EVERY Junior Parent helping out in some capacity!! Although it seems months away, many important deadlines are already upon us. It is critical that we meet and address some urgent decisions. Please plan to attend this important meeting!
