To Benton County residents,

The fall season is coming to an end, which means that deer will be on the move during the rut. Please drive safely and look for deer, especially at dusk and dawn.

Also, if you’re mentoring youth hunters this season. Remember to discuss the reason for harvesting your own meat, and what it means to you as an experienced hunter. It’s not enough to pass on the technical skills, you also have to pass on the emotional experience and deep responsibility involved with hunting.
