One of the favorite trees -- especially for children -- among the 2015 edition of the Virginia Gay Hospital Tree Walk is the "Frozen" themed tree.
The white tree with blue trim and ribbon includes decorations from the famous animated movie. The winning bidder will also receive a bag full of movie-related items, a board game and dolls representing Anna, Elsa and Olaf, the sisters and snowman characters from the movie.
Jackie and Richard Bear made and donated the "Frozen" display.
"Our grandchildren love that movie, and we love that movie," Jackie explains. "Richard and I love Disney so we will always try and do a Disney-themed tree. With the ice, cold theme in the movie, I thought it would make a pretty Christmas tree."
One thing the "Frozen" tree does not include, but almost did: Musical ornaments.
"There is a Hallmark ornament that sings 'Let it Go' that I almost bought, but I thought I had better not -- our registration girls might not appreciate that by the time our Tree Walk ends," Jackie said.
