News : VPRD seeking volunteers to help plan 25th annual Party in the Park

While we continue to enjoy these abnormally mild December temperatures, the Vinton Parks & Recreation Department already has its sights set on summer of 2016 and our greatly anticipated 25th Anniversary of the annual Party in the Park community festival!

Our ongoing goal is to keep Party in the Park as fresh, exciting and innovative as possible so we are very interested in hearing what your thoughts might be! If you feel that you have some ideas and concepts that would be beneficial to the festival or simply have an interest in lending a hand on one of our sub-committees, we’d love to have you involved. Our first planning meeting will take place on Monday, December 14th at 6:30 PM.
