Hundreds of area residents attended two Easter Egg Hunts on Saturday.

First, the Kiwanis Club held its annual event at Kiwanis Park for the first time. Children posed with the easter bunny before and after racing for candy-filled eggs. The Kiwanis have been sponsoring the annual event for more than a half-century, although this is the first year to hold it in the park bearing the club's name.

An hour later, the Rodgers Park event, sponsored by Ehlinger's 66 and other local businesses filled the grounds with children. There was also a very popular adult egg hunt, with many prizes from area businesses.
