News : 2018 Turkey Coloring Contest Winners

The Vinton Parks & Recreation Dept held their annual Turkey Coloring Contest for 3rd grade and under. We would like to thank everyone who participated. The following is a list of the contest winners. Preschool & Under Division 1st – Raelynn Sondag 2nd – Gregory Svoboda III 3rd – Wesley Van Ree Kindergarten & 1st Grade Division 1st – Nicala Higdon 2nd – Erika Graton 3rd – Jadyn Annis 2nd & 3rd Grade Division 1st – Carleyre’ Smith 2nd– McKenzie Mosher 3rd– Chloe Bena The top three winners in each division will be awarded prizes, presented with their laminated contest entry and ride the fire truck with Santa. They will meet at the fire station at 5:20 pm Thursday, November 15 for their ride with Santa in the downtown Veteran’s Patriotic Holiday parade. * We had a number of submitted contest entries that have no information on the back, so we were unsure of where these should be returned. If you have a participating student that did not receive their entry, please have the parents come to the Vinton Recreation Center with their child to claim their entry. Thank you!
