News : Betterton food drive today; a few appointments may be available

Chiropractors Matt Betterton and Scott Barron expect to serve 100 clients today during the Betterton Family Chirorpractic food drive. On this day, instead of charging patients for a spinal adjustment, the chiropractors ask for a donation for the local food pantry.

Betterton has done this for years; this year, Barron, who recently joined the practice, is also participating.

Bags of food line the hallway at the office on A Avenue and also fill the floor under a Christmas tree in the front lobby. Betterton said the schedule is full today, but adds that they may be able to add a few more appointments.
