News : Tot Lot program continues at Skate Center

Children enjoy a variety of activities during the VPRD Tot Lot program.

A variety of kid-powered vehicles are available at the VPRD Tot Lot program.

Twice each week, the Vinton Skate Center turns into a place for pre-schoolers to play.

The Vinton Parks and Recreation Tot Lot program offers a variety of small playground (indoor) equipment and pedal-powered vehicles for use by children too young for school. The program goes from 9:30 to 11:30 most Monday and Wednesdays at the Skate Center. Cost is $1 per day per child or $20 for a season pass. The season began in November and ends in March.
