Blessing Boxes of Vinton, Iowa started because two local women LOVE Jesus so much they decided to serve the community. Blessing Boxes are basically neighbors helping neighbors. If you are having financial issues, a little short on funds until the next payday, or even on the flip side feel like donating an item. These boxes are for you. The boxes are available 24/7.Inside the boxes, you will find everyday personal items like shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, tampons, pads, diapers, soap, small snacks, and some food items. * Please note items change on a daily basis based on the needs of our community. You never know what you will find. Blessing boxes are located at 502 4th Ave and 911 1st Ave Vinton, Iowa 52349Tips for taking *Please be mindful of sharing and only take what you need. *Blessing Box is not to replace the food pantry. The boxes are designed for necessities.Tips for donating*Please be mindful of summer/winter months and items that could easily spoil, melt, or freeze.*Please be mindful of safety. No razors, needles, medicines, harsh chemicals, alcohol, tobacco, etc.*Please be mindful of space.
