News : School Board to open contract negotiations with VSEA

The Vinton-Shellsburg Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, in its meeting room. The only item on the agenda is the initial proposal from the Vinton-Shellsburg Education Association. The VSEA will present its initial proposal for contract and settlement conditions for the 2011-2012 school year. After a short break, the school board will present its initial proposal to the VSEA representatives at the meeting.
