News : Once again Vinton Fire Department serves the community

Vinton Fire Department served area residents breakfast on Sunday morning

The Vinton Fire Department held their annual breakfast wrapping up Fire Prevention week. Serving pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham, sausage and biscuits and gravy, juice, milk and coffee, there was a line out the door most of the time keeping the department on their toes. On Sunday they were able to serve nearly 900 people at their breakfast.

This week the department has gone above and beyond to educate the children in the community about fire safety in both a serious way and giving the children a bit of fun mixed in.

Our hats are off once again to the Vinton Fire Department for their service this week, well for their service all year long really, thanks guys!
