News : Next Honor Flight set for April 26; several area WWII vets to go

The next Honor Flight leaves from the Eastern Iowa Airport on April 26. Nearly 100 World War II veterans will make the trip for free, courtesy of the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight donors and sponsors.

Benton County veterans signed up for this trip include: Robert Allard, Urbana; William Bolin, Vinton; Richard Claeys, Belle Plaine; Burton Davis, Vinton; James Peterson, Vinton; Milton Smith, Vinton; Dale Speckner, Shellsburg.

There will be an orientation for the veterans and their caregivers April 14, in Hiawatha.
