News : Third grade students sing classic American favorites

Third grade students performed patriotic favorites Tuesday evening.

Vinton-Shellsburg third grade students from Tilford Elementary performed their concert Tuesday evening in the school auditorium. The children sang a variety of classic American favorites, including "This Land is Your Land" and "Working on the Railroad." The children explained the history of each song. The concert included a variety of actions and some unique instruments. Mrs. Connie Zenk accompanied the students on the piano.
