American Flag
By Noah Hesson
When I see the flag, I think of my family and even cousins that have and still serve my country. I think of those who have died and are still fighting to serve the U.S. And I think of the wars fought to give us the freedom and democracy that we now have.
I have two older cousins currently serving in the Navy. There is also another cousin studying for the Navy. I had an uncle who was in the Air Force who died in a practice drill over the ocean when the wings of his aircraft and another one touched.
Many men and women die from war and fighting just to give us the freedom and the democracy that we have now. I thank God for all of the brave people who want to do this just for their country and just to let us all be save here in the U.S.
The men and women in our lives are extremely brave and have immense amounts of courage. We all thank them all for all that they do. We also need to give credit to the people who help teach the great soldiers of our country.
When I see the flag I think of our freedom and democracy that the amazing men and women in our lives won for us. Thank you to all of the great, brave and courageous souls in all of our lives. You are the best thing ever.
