News : Party in the Park planning continues; committee seeks donations

Let’s hope winter is about over and we can start doing some things outside and get ready for a great summer. The Party in the Park committee has been meeting since last fall in preparation for our twentieth anniversary of Party in the Park.

The festival will be taking place on June 23, 24 & 25 and this year. Get your brainstorming going now on your floats for the parade, designing your store front or yard or just getting yourself all geared up for the huge celebration. As the festival draws closer you will be seeing a lot of fun activities for the whole family.

This year we are bringing back a group that we haven’t had in Vinton for ten tears, Tonic Sol Fa. This great group performs all over the world and we feel very fortunate to have them come to help us celebrate our twentieth year. Also this year we have added performance on Friday night with the music of Dogs on Skis. This year will be extra special with fireworks shows on Friday and Saturday from Bar-Y Pyros. Also we will be having many fantastic local acts that will keep you entertained over the three days.
