Darlys M Hulme, president of Farmers Savings Bank & Trust, Vinton, announces that the public is invided to celebrate the completion of their renovation and remodeling project with an open house set for Friday, April 22 from 8:30-6:00 p.m.
Coffee, punch and bars will be served. Everyone will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a 37" television and two $100.00 Vinton Unlimited gift certificates.
William C. Talen, chairman and CEO, stated the renovation project's major goal was to improve customer service, as well as create an environment that is comfortable and friendly. The $600,000.00 renovation project added 1060 square feet of main floor space to accomodate the new office for Jeff Peterson, financial advisor, board of directors meeting room, new carpet, paint, art and furnishings.
The design and construction of the project was the creation of Kirk Gross Company of Waterloo. Local subcontractors working on the project were Tharp Designs, Adolphs Lawn Service, Matt Schminke, Michael & Dowd, Spencer Painting, Edwards Plumbing, Elwick Electric and C&J Cleaning.
Farmers Savings Bank & Trust is an independent community Iowa bank.
