News : Fareway to be silent for Craig Hackbarth\'s funeral

Fareway will close for Craig Hackbarth's funeral.

Lines of mourners extended outside of Phillips Funeral Home Wednesday evening as hundreds of friends and employees, past and present, of the Vinton Fareway came to pay their last respects to Craig Hackbarth. Visitation took place Wednesday evening; the funeral is at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel.

The Fareway Store, which Craig managed for 20 years, will be closed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to honor Craig and allow the employees to attend the service.
