News : Grand Opening today: KT\'s Kloset owners offer affordable used clothing

Kathy Hulse and Tim Westemeier are the owners of KT's Kloset, Vinton's new used clothing store.

After retiring from their first jobs, Tim Westemeier and Kathy Hulse decided to pursue their second interest: Opening a used clothing store. They looked at several Iowa communities before choosing Vinton.

Now, their store, KT's Kloset, is open across the street from the Palace Theatre. Their Grand Opening takes place today, with refreshments and 20 percent discounts.

The store offers a variety of used clothing, and a few new items.

"We talked to people who said there was a need for this kind of store in Vinton," said Hulse. "Today a woman came in and bought a couple of pairs of jeans. She told us we had great prices on our jeans."
