News : Third Grade Ag Day: Students see animals, farm machinery

The Benton County Extension Service and several others worked together to teach area third grade students about agriculture during the annual Third Grade Ag Day at the Benton County Fairgrounds on Wednesday.

Students saw cattle, pigs, horses and poultry, and learned about farm machinery and farm safety. Other displays demonstrated the importance of agriculture and the use of farm products.
