Some VSHS freshmen and other first-time performers took to the stage along with seniors and others with many years of experience during the Vinton-Shellsburg High School Cabaret Saturday evening in the high school auditorium.

The concert band, jazz band, many choirs and small groups performed a variety of musical numbers. There were some solo acts along with some performances by speech students who repeated their routines from earlier contests.

MR May 16, 2011, 10:41 am It was a fantastic program and we should be so proud of all of our students who performed. I did hear some comments that they wished the concert band could have performed more than one number. Of course, having a granddaughter in concert band I echo that as well.
