Some VSHS freshmen and other first-time performers took to the stage along with seniors and others with many years of experience during the Vinton-Shellsburg High School Cabaret Saturday evening in the high school auditorium.
The concert band, jazz band, many choirs and small groups performed a variety of musical numbers. There were some solo acts along with some performances by speech students who repeated their routines from earlier contests.
