"The city of Mt. Auburn will open all sealed bids postmarked no later than September 25, for the ownership of the collapsed Shelter Building including removal and disposal of all structure material excluding the concrete." That was a statement released by the City of Mt. Auburn following a mishap over the weekend. (The full notice from the city can be seen in the photos concerning submitting a bid for removal.)
Apparently, a tractor was going to pull a picnic table out from under the pavilion at Mt. Auburn's city park, and accidently took out one of the support beams and brought down the shelter.
The city also announced are placement of stop signs across the town. A map of their locations can be found in the photos.
