The Vinton-Shellsburg FFA conducted their annual fruit sales with great success. The chapter set an ambitious overall goal of $40,000 in sales, and through the dedication of its members, they exceeded their target.

Each grade level within the chapter was assigned specific goals to contribute to the overall success. Thanks to the hard work and collaboration of students across most grades, many individual goals were also achieved, showcasing the collective effort and determination of the chapter. They were awarded with a pizza party.

The chapter's number one seller was their President, Andrew Pingenot, who sold an impressive $6,475. His dedication and leadership set a great example for the rest of the members. The rest of the top ten salesmen were as follows: 2nd Abby McKenna, 3rd Izzie Birker, 4th Carlie Clark, 5th Ben Buhr, 6th Zoey McClintock, 7th Will McKenna, 8th Sophia Newton, 9th Ciara Dods, and 10th Levi and Ali Lutz.

In addition to the top ten, 30 members were able to meet their individual goal of at least $500 in sales. Fruit sales provide an excellent opportunity for FFA members to engage with their community, learn valuable sales skills. Additionally, this is a great fundraiser for the chapter to earn money and support its activities.

This year, the chapter offered a variety of products, including fruit, meat, and cheese, from Minntex and Edgewood Locker ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.
