January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month - a time to recognize that every person deserves freedom and dignity. Through our Iowa Businesses Against Trafficking (IBAT) program, we empower community members to recognize warning signs and safely support trafficking survivors.

Iowa businesses and organizations can take meaningful action by pledging to Learn Something and Do Something to combat trafficking in their communities.

Every business has power to create change. Join IBAT to receive training resources and practical steps for identifying warning signs and supporting survivors. Because people are not for sale, and Iowa businesses stand united against exploitation.

Take the pledge at ibat.iowa.gov. Together, we can help end human trafficking in Iowa.

We are thrilled to be joining Governor Reynolds for a proclamation signing to recognize January as Human Trafficking Awareness Month. We invite you to join us on January 15, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. in the Iowa State Capitol Rotunda.
