New York City will get some love from Vinton-Shellsburg Prom attendees Saturday night.

The Vinton-Shellsburg Prom will have the theme of A Night in New York when the students hold the traditional event Saturday evening, May 1.

The Grand March will take place at 7 p.m. in the VSHS Auditorium. Prom begins at 8. The post-prom party in the high school gym (and other areas) begins at 12:30 a.m.

The public is invited to the Grand March Saturday evening. Dozens of volunteers have helped with organizing, fund-raising and decorating for the post-prom party.
